The “Whatever Happened to Living??” Tour

Many years ago, on a road trip to Swan River, our friends Neil, Eric and Greg decided that we should all go on a ”Whatever Happened To Living“ Tour. This trip would have involved  more than a few  drinks and include  visits to illustrious Manitoba places like San Clara and Garland .  Sadly, we never got to take that trip, but this idea always reminds us that life is short and living it is crucial!  Along with the rest of the world, we couldn’t travel or cruise for the past few years, so the sentiment seemed to be even more appropriate in the circumstances.  It does need to be noted that the aforementioned friends would be mocking us mercilessly if they knew we were applying this concept to a cruise and a blog. The mere fact that we are doing a blog would have provided them with hours of entertainment! But we digress…

On December 28, we are flying from Vancouver to Sydney, Australia to live on the Celebrity Eclipse  cruiseship for almost 5 months.  The ship will take us to many places in Australia and New Zealand. We will stop in Tasmania, Fiji, Tahiti, Samoa, Vanuatu, Tonga, New Caledonia, and all of the Hawaiian islands. We will end up in Vancouver in May.  Our packed vehicle will be parked at the Vancouver airport  wherein we will drive home to Clear Lake . 

We will see a lot, eat too much, drink some wine and blog about it all!   Hopefully, we don’t return as fat raging alcoholics! Just a warning that we are completely new to the “Blogosphere“ and we have no idea what we’re doing! We may screw this up entirely and then we’ll have to bore you with pictures and stories when we get home!
